# Knotting-Tying

### Knotting/Tying Mechanic in AnE

For species with a knot, the system allows you to physically remain connected to your partner for a short duration using RLV. This functions similarly to RLV leashes, keeping both avatars together until one of the following conditions is met:

* Arousal decreases enough to allow release.
* The connection is forcibly removed/pulled out.

This feature enhances immersion by simulating the natural mechanics of knotting in applicable species.

### How to enable this functionality

For this feature to work both individuals need to enable the function within the AnE HUD's menu.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Individual with the knot will require one extra step.**
{% endhint %}

### If you have a Knot

You will navigate to **Profile** > **Change** > **Sexual Detail** > **Knot**

### Enabling the FLV functionality of Knotting

You will navigate to **Settings** > **RLV** > **Restrictions** > **Movement**

For the person wanting to be knotted they only need to enable this function.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.anehud.com/getting-started/knotting-tying.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
