Your account represents you in the virtual world. Your character profile represents the persona you play. One account can own several characters, but only one character can be active at a time.

Account vs. character

  • Your account is created automatically the first time you use the companion. It stores information shared by all your characters, including unlocked rewards, special roles, and your active character.
  • A character, also called a profile, stores an in-character persona’s name, species, body, class, stats, relationships, and history.

Create and switch characters

  • The companion guides you through creating your first character the first time you wear it.
  • From the main menu, you can create more characters when your account allows it, switch your active character, or resume an existing character.
  • You can also assume a character from a nearby egg or another hand-off. This is how you can begin playing a newly born character.

Relationships and trust

  • You can link characters as partners. The relationship appears for both characters automatically.
  • You can mark another character as trusted. Trust can relax certain interaction or exchange limits between your characters.
  • Parent and child links can result from adoption or birth. These relationships affect genetics and ancestry.

Packs

Characters can form a named pack with an Alpha, optional Betas, and Omegas. See Packs for the full walkthrough.

Special roles and permissions

Some accounts receive extra roles for moderation, private testing, or access to experimental features such as the AI companion. These roles are granted individually and do not change the regular player experience.

Settings

Accounts and characters have separate settings for notification preferences, content limits, and feature toggles. You can change them from Settings on the main menu.
