Vitality and stats

Your character’s vitals change as you play. Scenes, rest, births, consumables, and add-ons can affect them. These are in-character game mechanics.

Vital What it means
Health Your physical condition. It recovers slowly and falls with harmful effects, overexertion, or a difficult birth. Fully depleted health ends the character’s life.
Arousal Builds during intimate scenes and can lead to a climax.
Stamina Your energy and alertness. Low stamina can make your character unconscious and temporarily unable to act or defend themselves.
Essence Your body’s fertility-related fluid resource, spent and replenished during scenes and reproduction.
Strength Your ability to act on another character during a scene.
Defense Your ability to resist another character’s actions. Reduced defense can change which advances your character can resist.

You do not set vitals directly. They change with your actions and what happens to your character.

  • Scenes build arousal and gradually drain stamina and defense.
  • Rest lets stamina, strength, and defense recover.
  • A climax reduces arousal and gives a small health boost.
  • Giving birth costs health, with a greater cost for a tighter fit.
  • When low stamina makes you unconscious, wait and rest to recover.

Another character’s actions during a shared scene can affect your vitals. Your vitals belong to your character; they are not a resource you transfer between players.

If health reaches zero, your character dies permanently and you return to character selection. You can switch to another character or create one. The cause of death may appear in your character’s history.

Harmful items can cause this outcome. In particular, consuming a Poison Apple ends the character’s life.
