Some optional services require a pairing code or account credentials. The companion opens a one-time web portal so you do not need to enter sensitive information inside the virtual world.
  1. Open the relevant settings menu and choose the option to link or connect the service.
  2. Review the connection details in the browser window that opens.
  3. Scan or display the requested code, or enter your credentials directly on the page.
  4. Wait for the success confirmation, close the browser window, and return to the virtual world.
The page encrypts credentials in your browser before sending them. The in-world object never receives the credentials directly. For the ongoing character dashboard, see Companion web dashboard.
